It all started back in 1999 with a
plastic 35mm cheapie camera. Film and developing was getting to be more money
than I wanted to spend and Sony had just come out with their first digital
camera. The price was more than I could afford, so I had to save up till 2001
when I bought the Sony Marvica FD75. Man I thought that was the best thing to
come down the pike, and stuck with it till the fall of 2005 when while on
vacation with the family , we had picked up a couple of the throw away cameras.
Now when we got the pictures developed I found that the picture quality was
better in the throw aways. Now the quest was on to get a new camera. I settled
on a used from ebay Nikon Coolpix 5400 that came with lots of extras and looked
to be new.
I was off, shooting everything in sight. The
picture quality just blew me away, I was hooked, I needed more, I had to have
more. Now with Christmas almost here I begged and pleaded my case to Santa that
I wanted A Nikon D-50 to further my hunger for my new hobby. Now on Christmas
morning With all hope fading, down to the last package he or should I say "she"
granted my wish. So now we are up to date.
